I’m Nwamaka, a physician and medical writer who partners with medical education companies to develop high-quality continuing medical education (CME) and independent medical education (IME) for healthcare professionals.
I began my residency in Internal Medicine and went on to obtain a fellowship in Nephrology. Along the way, I also gained experience in Connective Tissue Diseases. That training gave me a strong foundation across many areas of Internal Medicine and continues to shape the kinds of educational projects I enjoy working on today.
After my fellowship, I expanded my writing beyond creative writing to include medical writing. Today, I work with medical education companies to develop needs assessments, slide decks, educational manuscripts, learning materials, and other scientific content that supports accredited and non-accredited educational initiatives. My needs assessments have contributed to successful grant applications, helping clients secure funding for educational programs that address genuine practice gaps and improve patient care.
I believe the best educational content begins with a clear understanding of the evidence, the learners, and the unmet educational need. Whether developing a needs assessment, creating faculty-ready slide content, or writing enduring educational materials, I aim to deliver content that is scientifically rigorous, strategically aligned, and practical for busy healthcare professionals.
Many of my client relationships have continued for years, reflecting a collaborative approach, consistent quality, and a commitment to understanding each client’s standards and workflow. I strive to be an extension of my clients’ teams, and my clients trust me to deliver thoughtful, reliable work with minimal oversight.
If you’re looking for a physician medical writer with deep expertise in Internal Medicine and extensive experience supporting CME and IME initiatives, I’d welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can work together.
